Great for Contrast/Shade/Ink/Washes

I bought this because the current citadel offerings for "shade brushes" were having a hard time with how rough Citadels glazes, shades and Contrast ranges are on brushes in general. I was losing bristles and having cleaning issues. I've always avoided synthetic brushes because sometime in the distant past I read that they were a terrible idea and never really gave it another thought. This brush was a pleasant change...aside from the rather stark all white look, the synthetic bristles seem to holding up a treat against the harshness of Shade/Contrast paint. No cleaning issues, and only a little of the dreaded "Tip Curl" that plagues all synthetic brushes to my knowledge (and this is a fairly minor issue given I don't use this brush for any real detail work) The tip has kept from splaying out to something unusable (my issue with the other line of Citadel brushes...) and the paint flows well. I would recommend picking one up for these purposes.
